On June 13, 2026, members of the South Jersey Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution joined Scouts and other participants at historic Fort Mifflin in Philadelphia as part of the 250th Anniversary Revolutionary War Camporee. The Camporee, held June 12-14, brought Revolutionary War history to life and gave Scouts an opportunity to learn more about the people, events, and symbols connected to the founding of our nation.

South Jersey Chapter members participated in the program alongside Revolutionary War interpreters, sharing the importance of the Declaration of Independence, America’s first generation of patriots, and the significance of the nation’s 250th anniversary in 2026.

The historic 18th-century Fort Mifflin flag features 13 horizontal stripes in a repeating red, white, and blue pattern. The design was associated with the Continental Navy and was used at Fort Mifflin during the Revolutionary War.
