Archaeology at Red Bank Battlefield

We’re reaching out to our South Jersey community members who are curious about what’s been going on at the Red Bank Battlefield, especially if you were with us on September 16, 2023, for the 100th Anniversary event. On that day, Dr. Janofsky, one of the big names behind the Red Bank Battlefield project, talked about the cool finds of Hessian remains at the site this year from a scholarly angle.

Now, we’ve got another exciting session lined up for November 1. This time, we’ll be hearing from archeologist Wade Catts, the other co-director of the Red Bank Battlefield project. He’ll be giving us a different take on the discoveries straight from the field.

This event is open to everyone, and we’d love for you to come along. It’s a chance to learn more about the intriguing archeological digs that have been happening right in our backyard and to connect with others in the community who share your curiosity.
