Join us in celebrating a century of history and camaraderie with the South Jersey Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution! This year marks our 100th Anniversary, a milestone we’re excited to share with you on Saturday, September 16th, 2023.
From our humble beginnings in 1923, we’ve grown into a passionate community of history enthusiasts and patriots, and we invite you to commemorate this special occasion with us at the picturesque Ramblewood Country Club in Mount Laurel, NJ.
The featured speaker is Jennifer Lawrence Janofsky, Ph.D., Megan Giordano Fellow in Public History at Rowan University, and is curator/director of Red Bank Battlefield Park in National Park, NJ. Dr. Janofsky received her B.A. from the University of Scranton, her M.A. from Villanova University, and her Ph.D. from Temple University where she studied early American history and public history. She teaches classes in public history, material culture, pre-Civil War America, and internship in history. Dr. Janofsky is currently serving as project director for the American Battlefield Protection Program grant supporting archeological surveys of Red Bank Battlefield, which recently uncovered bones that were the remains of 15 Hessian soldiers, who were German troops hired by the British to fight in the war of American Independence in 1777. The topic of her presentation is “The Archaeology of the Battle of Red Bank and the Discovery of Hessian Graves.”

There will be a social time with cash bar from 11:00am – 12:00pm, with the Luncheon starting at 12:00 pm. The event will end at 2:30.
The cost of the luncheon is $55.00 per person, with 3 main menu choices available. Notify us if there are any dietary concerns.
